4. Trip Calculator & Profitability Estimates
The Trip Calculator provides per-trip profitability estimates based on user-entered data (distance, mileage, fuel price, freight, toll, and other running costs). These results are estimates only and not guaranteed profitability predictions. Actual profits may differ due to:
- Market conditions and freight rate fluctuations
- Unexpected expenses (breakdowns, fines, delays)
- Road conditions, traffic, and weather
- Vehicle condition and actual vs declared mileage
- Changes in diesel prices after calculation

5. Recovery Fare
The Recovery Fare tool calculates the minimum freight needed to recover the cost of empty/idle days before a trip. This is a mathematical calculation tool, not financial advice. Key points:
- The "Empty Days" input is provided by the user. OnRoadCost does not verify its accuracy.
- Empty Days cost spreading is an approximation method — it divides fixed costs across idle days and adds them to the trip cost.
- Actual minimum viable freight may differ based on factors not captured by this tool.
6. Balance Sheet
The Balance Sheet feature shows a monthly/yearly cash flow view (inflow vs outflow) auto-generated from your saved trip data. This is not an audited financial statement. It is a user-data-based summary for personal reference only. OnRoadCost does not verify the accuracy of the underlying trip data entered by users.
7. Guarantor & Loan Assistance — Disclaimer
Our guarantor matching feature connects borrowers with potential guarantors for informational purposes. Important disclaimers:
- No Guarantee of Finding a Guarantor: Submitting the "I Need a Guarantor" form and paying the subscription fee does NOT guarantee that a guarantor will be found. Matching depends entirely on the availability and willingness of registered guarantors in your area to respond and agree to assist.
- No Obligation on Registered Guarantors: Persons who register as guarantors do so voluntarily and may decline any request at their sole discretion. OnRoadCost cannot compel any guarantor to accept a borrower's request.
- No Financial Advice: We are not a financial institution, NBFC, bank, or lending company. We do not provide financial advice, loan underwriting, or credit assessment services.
- Due Diligence: OnRoadCost does not verify the identity, creditworthiness, background, criminal record, or financial stability of either borrowers or guarantors. Both parties must independently verify each other before entering into any financial arrangement.
- No Liability for Defaults: OnRoadCost shall not be held responsible or liable in any manner if the borrower defaults on the loan, the guarantor faces legal consequences, or any financial loss occurs to either party.
- Non-Refundable Payment: The subscription fee paid for accessing the guarantor matching service is non-refundable regardless of outcome. See Refund Policy.
- Platform Role: OnRoadCost (Josh Riders) acts solely as a facilitator/introducer and is NOT a party to any loan agreement, guarantor arrangement, or financial contract between users.
- Earnings Claims: Any reference to guarantor earnings (e.g., ₹2,000–₹10,000 service fee) is indicative and depends on individual negotiations between borrower and guarantor. OnRoadCost does not guarantee any income to guarantors.
