Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid services and subscriptions offered on OnRoadCost (https://onroadcost.com), operated by Josh Riders.
1. Subscription Plans
OnRoadCost offers per-vehicle subscription pricing — ₹150/vehicle/month or ₹1,500/vehicle/year — providing access to advanced tools including unlimited trip calculations, Recovery Fare calculator, Balance Sheet, trip history, PDF reports, and other premium features. The total amount is the per-vehicle price multiplied by the number of vehicles you cover. Subscriptions auto-renew via Razorpay based on the chosen billing cycle.
1A. Diwali Offer (₹10) — Special Terms
OnRoadCost is running a limited-period Diwali Offer. Under this offer, the ₹10 payment is an introductory offer price for the ₹1,500/year Annual Package — it is not a separate ₹10 plan. The following terms apply specifically to this offer and override the general terms above wherever there is a conflict:
- What ₹10 gets you: By paying ₹10 you unlock the Annual Package until a fixed end date of 31 October 2026 (up to 40 days of access if you join on the first day of the offer).
- Late joiners get fewer days: The access end date (31 October 2026) is the same for everyone. Anyone who joins after 22 September 2026 will receive fewer than 40 days of access. The user is solely responsible for any reduced usage caused by joining late, and no refund, extension, or compensation will be provided for the shorter access period.
- Auto-renewal charge: After the 40-day period, on 1 November 2026 the full Annual Package price of ₹1,500 will be automatically charged via Razorpay auto-debit to continue your subscription for the year. This is the real price of the package.
- ₹10 is non-refundable: The ₹10 offer payment is non-refundable at all times. Access is granted immediately on payment and the digital service is considered delivered.
- How to cancel (to avoid the ₹1,500 charge): Cancellation and refund are different things. To avoid the ₹1,500 auto-debit, you must apply for cancellation at least 3 (three) days before the 1 November 2026 renewal date (i.e., on or before 28 October 2026). If you cancel in time, the ₹1,500 will not be charged.
- No refund once ₹1,500 is charged: If you do not cancel within the window above, the ₹1,500 is charged on 1 November 2026 and is non-refundable. Once charged, the yearly subscription cannot be cancelled for a refund.
- Effect of cancellation: If you cancel, you will also be removed from the Diwali Offer — your quiz/contest entry (if any) will be cancelled, and you will forfeit any chance of winning the offer prize. You will need to subscribe at the regular ₹1,500/year price if you wish to continue later.
- Contest/quiz prize: The Diwali quiz is a skill-based contest. Participation requires an active Diwali Offer subscription; cancellation forfeits eligibility.
- How the winner is selected: Participants must answer all quiz questions correctly. Among all who answer correctly, the winner is the one who completes the quiz in the least time taken (duration between starting and submitting the quiz, as recorded by our system); an exact tie is broken by the earlier submission.
- One entry per person: Each participant may submit only one entry. This is per person, not per mobile number — the same individual using different mobile numbers or multiple accounts will still be counted as one person / one entry, and OnRoadCost may disqualify duplicate or multiple entries at its sole discretion. Repeat attempts are not counted.
- One winner, tyres only: Only 1 (one) winner will be selected. The prize is a set of tyres of value up to ₹52,000 (exact model/value may vary, decided by OnRoadCost) and cannot be encashed, exchanged, or converted to cash. No cash alternative will be provided.
- Decision is final and binding: The winner is decided solely from OnRoadCost's system records. OnRoadCost's decision is final and binding on all participants; no dispute regarding winner selection will be entertained.
- Minimum 10,000 participants required: The Diwali contest is valid only if a minimum of 10,000 participants join. If fewer than 10,000 people participate, the contest will be withdrawn/cancelled and no prize will be awarded. In that case your subscription continues as a normal ₹1,500/year Annual Package (with the ₹10 intro access), but the contest/prize component stands cancelled.
- Jurisdiction: All disputes relating to this offer, contest, payments, or refunds shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India only.
- ⚠️ Fraud warning: The only official offer page is https://onroadcost.com/diwali-offer and the only official payment is the ₹10 via our Razorpay checkout on this website. We never ask for any claim fee, delivery charge, tax, deposit, OTP, card/CVV or UPI PIN to give a prize. OnRoadCost is not responsible for any money paid to, or loss caused by, fake websites, cloned pages, fraudulent messages, fake prize-win calls, or anyone impersonating OnRoadCost. Any payment made outside our official ₹10 Razorpay checkout is at your own risk and is not refundable by us. Report scams to info@onroadcost.com.
Important: By paying ₹10, you expressly consent to the automatic ₹1,500 renewal charge on 1 November 2026. The ₹10 is non-refundable at all times. To avoid the ₹1,500 charge you must cancel at least 3 days before the renewal date (by 28 October 2026); once the ₹1,500 is charged it is non-refundable. Cancelling also removes you from the offer.
2. Cancellation Policy
- You may request subscription cancellation at any time through the app.
- Cancellation requests are processed within 24 hours of submission.
- Upon cancellation, your premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period (3-month cycle).
- After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the free tier.
- No further charges will be made after cancellation is processed.
- No refund will be issued for the current/remaining billing period.
3. Refund Policy
All payments made on OnRoadCost are non-refundable. Once a payment is successfully processed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
- Subscription payments: Non-refundable. Premium access is granted immediately upon payment, and the digital service is considered delivered at the time of activation.
- Vehicle slot payments: Non-refundable once a vehicle has been added to the slot. Each payment unlocks one vehicle slot permanently.
- One-time service fees: Non-refundable once the service has been initiated or delivered (e.g., guarantor matching, loan assistance).
- Guarantor Matching Service: The one-time fee of ₹10,000 paid to access the "I Need a Guarantor" form is non-refundable. Payment grants you access to the matching platform only. OnRoadCost does not guarantee that a guarantor will be found. Matching depends entirely on the availability and willingness of registered guarantors in your area. No refund will be issued if a match is not found, if the guarantor declines, or if the loan is not approved.
- Accidental payments: If you believe a payment was made in error or without your authorization, please contact us within 24 hours. We will investigate on a case-by-case basis, but are not obligated to issue refunds.
Important: By making a payment on OnRoadCost, you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final and non-refundable. Please ensure you understand the service before purchasing.
4. Free Trial
OnRoadCost offers a free trial that includes your first vehicle and 3 free trip calculations. Since no payment is involved in the free trial, no refund is applicable for the trial period. After the free trial limit is exhausted, a paid subscription is required to continue using calculation features.
4A. Guarantor Matching Service — No Refund
⚠️ Important: The one-time fee of ₹10,000 paid to access the guarantor matching ("I Need a Guarantor") feature is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
- No matching guarantor is found in your area.
- A guarantor is found but declines to proceed.
- A guarantor agrees but the bank rejects the loan application.
- You change your mind after submitting the form.
- You find a guarantor through other means after paying.
- The loan is approved but on unfavorable terms.
OnRoadCost provides a platform and matching service only. We do not guarantee results. The payment is for access to the service, not for a guaranteed outcome. By paying and submitting the form, you acknowledge this policy.
5. Vehicle Slot
Each payment unlocks one vehicle slot. Once a vehicle is added to a paid slot, the payment is non-refundable regardless of whether you continue using the vehicle or not. Vehicles cannot be deleted from your account (you may only edit vehicle details).
6. Why No Refunds?
OnRoadCost provides digital services and tools that are accessible immediately upon payment. Since the service is delivered instantly and cannot be "returned," refunds are not applicable. This is standard practice for digital subscription services.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of India. All disputes arising out of or relating to payments, refunds, subscriptions, or the Diwali Offer/contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India only.
